While in the area, I managed to eat from each of the three thai restaurants on this block. This one was by far the best. Their Pad Se Eiu is phenomenal. Their noodle dishes just had great flavor. A couple of the other restaurants in this neighborhood were lacking some of that flavor.
Prices were comparable with the neighborhood (high), but there's a reason this restaurant is packed when the others on the block are rather empty at dinner time. -

One of my favourite Thai restaurants. Inexpensive, good portion sizes and good service. All the dishes served here are very tasty. I recommend the Chicken Pumpkin Curry with steamed Jasmine rice. Delicious. Also a good serve of Thai Satay, Fish Cakes and Curry Puffs are also on my favourites list. Happy eating always at this long standing place.

I went with high expectations based on past reviews. Sadly, S Thada is not quite there. Everything I ordered was off the vegetarian portion of the menu. We first got our Tom Yum. Tasty, but the only vegetables were lots of mushrooms and a few snow peas. And it was clearly flavored with fish sauce. As others have said, yummy Pad Thai. We also got an eggplant dish. Sadly, the eggplant was bitter and a bit tough. J said some of it seemed undercooked.
On the flip side, service was very fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced. -

Great Thai eatery a few blocks just north of Oxford street. Low prices, fast service and good taste. The Pad Thai was excellent. Open kitchen concept, you can see the cooks preparing your dishes.

Well priced and speedy thai. We found this place on our hunt for Messina ice cream and thought we would give it a try. It was worth the gamble, the food was extremely well priced and the service was quick and friendly. It seemed to be mostly full of locals and that suited us fine. They do take cash only so be aware of this. They did seem to have a roaring take away trade and this is always a good sign. I can recommend the spring rolls and chicken tom kha :)
